I'm starting to long for some color, so I thought I'd post a pop of color here! This azalea is spectacular in person. It 's only 2 feet high and wide but even in a fairly hidden corner of the garden, it makes you stop and take notice. I planted it there on purpose to brighten that corner, it does that and then some. The buds are very dark purple until they open, then all of a sudden; TA DA! A purpley fuchsia explosion!
Ah, just few more weeks...
